Jamshedpur : After being embroiled in controversies over the Junior Engineer Appointment Examination (JSSC JE Recruitment-2022) conducted by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) on July 3, 2022, due to allegations of question paper leak, the commission is preparing to conduct an inquiry into it. The commission will soon take steps for investigation in this regard. In a conversation with Newswing, the commission’s chairman Sudhir Tripathi said that the news related to the demand of Rs 15 lakh for a seat in the JE examination has been published in great detail in Newswing. This is a very serious matter. He said that he wants to get the matter probed in depth. The help of the police can also be taken in the investigation. The Speaker has said that if anyone has any concrete and factual information about the leakers or those who claim to be managing the seats, then they should make it available to them.
JSSC Chairman Sudhir Tripathi has a reputation for being a good officer. They should take cognizance of the audio/screen shots of malpractices uploaded in the media in the media and get the activities of the agency selected by JSSC to conduct the JE exam, then the mystery of malpractice will be exposed.

Let us inform that Newswing had reported on 7 July that a large scale setting-gating game has taken place in the Junior Engineer Appointment Examination, which includes some touts, some people of the exam taking agency and white collar. A demand of Rs 15 lakh was placed for a seat. Three lakh rupees were taken in advance from those who got the deal done and the condition was laid to pay the remaining 12 lakh rupees before document verification. Till then all the original educational certificates of the examinees are to be kept hostage with the brokers. After passing the written examination, when the remaining 12 lakh rupees will be given by the candidate to the brokers, then before the document verification, the broker will return the original certificate to him, so that he can present them in the document verification in JSCC. An audio regarding this was also shared by Newswing for its readers, in which it was mentioned that Rs 20 lakh for a seat was mentioned. After eight years in Jharkhand, the Junior Engineer Appointment Examination has been organized. Through this examination, 1289 posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/Agriculture Engineering) are to be appointed. Soon after the last July 3 exam, several candidates alleged that the question papers were leaked an hour before the exam. The agitated candidates had also alleged that the seats were sold.
Meanwhile, Jamshedpur East’s MLA and former minister Saryu Rai has also made a tweet about getting the allegations of irregularities in the JE exam investigated. Saryu Rai has written – “JSSC President Sudhir Tripathi has the reputation of a good officer.
