Governor met Divyang cricket players, got information about various problems


Ranchi: Governor Ramesh Bais encouraged the disabled cricket players by meeting them at Raj Bhavan today. The Governor also inquired about their various problems. It may be noted that India-Bangladesh T20 Divyang (Physically) competition is being organized on 27th, 28th and 29th September, 2022 at MECON Stadium, Ranchi.

In this, 6 players from Jharkhand Mukesh Kanchan, Vijay Mahto, Nishant Kumar Upadhyay, Vishal Nayak, Vagish Tripathi, Saukat Ali have been selected in the Indian Divyang cricket team. The Governor congratulated all these players for this achievement and wished them all the best for the future.

On the said occasion, the players said that even today the disabled players are not getting the requisite respect. There is also a financial problem in organizing the competition.
